Naphyrone is a derivative of Pyrovalerone, a stimulant drug developed in the 1960s as an appetite suppressant and to combat fatigue.
LEGAL STATUS:
> On July 23rd, 2010, NRG1 (Naphyrone) became an illegal class B drug
Possession: 5 years imprisonment, a fine, or both. Supply: 14 years imprisonment, a fine or both.
EFFECTS
Psychostimulant - increased attention & awareness, alertness, decreased appetite.
RISKS
As yet unclear. No toxicity data available. Abrupt cessation from heavy use of Pyrovalerone can causes a withdrawal syndrome, with feelings of anxiety and depression.
