The British Dental Association (BDA) reccomends that parent or carers 'avoid, or at least minimise, juice consumption if possible and stick to milk and water. Ideally milk should only be consumed from a bottle until age one, and even then it is important that the baby does not fall asleep whilst drinking from the bottle. Never put juice or other sugary drinks in a bottle.'
We were commissioned by Food Active, to create a campaign on behalf of various North West health-related organisations, to raise awareness of the damage 'baby juice' can cause to young children's teeth.
The campaign is centred around a series of eye-catching and humorous portraits of young children, emphasising how important it is to only give your child milk or when they are thirsty or at meal times.
In collaboration with the client we created the images, graphics, and artwork to support the central health message of: 'only milk or water please - be kind to my teeth'.
